Beyond our Salem Five ATM locations, you will be able to use your Salem Five ATM and Salem Five VISA debit card for fee-free access to more than 55,000 ATMs worldwide using the Allpoint® ATM Network.

What if I lose my ATM/Debit Card?
In the event that your card is lost or stolen, contact our Customer Support immediately at (800) 850-5000, during business hours. We also encourage you to use our Card Controls tool within Online Banking or our Mobile Banking App. To get started, simply login and click 'Cards'.

How do I change my ATM PIN?
Salem Five Telephone Banking offers a convenient self-service option that will allow you to change your ATM PIN. Simply call (800) 850-5000 and follow the recorded instructions.
You may also login to your Salem Five Online Banking account to send us a secure message with the PIN you would like to use.

What's a non-PIN purchase?
A non-PIN purchase means selecting or responding “credit” for purchases made with your debit card; it generally requires a signature.

Why was I charged a Foreign Transaction Fee if I haven't traveled outside the United States?
The fee is based on where the transaction is processed, not where the purchase is made. Some merchants process payments outside the United States, even for domestic or online purchases.

How can I tell if a transaction will incur the Foreign Transaction Fee?
It is not always apparent at the time of purchase. Whether the fee applies depends on how the merchant processes the transaction through the payment network.

Can Salem Five remove or refund a Foreign Transaction Fee?
The fee is generally assessed in accordance with the Consumer Banking Fee Schedule when a transaction qualifies as an international transaction under the applicable payment network rules. If you believe the fee was applied incorrectly, please contact us and we will review the transaction.

How can I avoid the Foreign Transaction Fee in the future?
You may be able to reduce the likelihood of incurring the fee by:

- Using merchants that process transactions within the United States when possible

Why is this called a Foreign Transaction Fee if my purchase was made in the United States?
The fee is based on where the transaction is processed, not where the purchase occurs. A U.S. purchase can still be processed outside the United States and be subject to the fee.
